This vacancy is for a GS-0132-12, Intelligence Operations Specialist located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Intelligence Staff in Boston, Massachusetts.Requirements:
To qualify at the GS- 12 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis.
- Preparing intelligence reports, collection manuals and instructions for dissemination to field collectors.
- Performing long range intelligence planning, through applying difference and unrelated methods to develop and recommend solutions to minimize actual and potential problems.
- Reviewing and evaluating incoming intelligence reports and information.
- Arranging for, and participating in, the briefing and debriefing of personnel returning from, or undertaking, foreign travel.
- Advising on potential information sources within and outside the intelligence community.
NOTE: Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level.
