Job Description
***Only candidates located near the Boston, MA area are to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***
Required Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field required
Required Qualifications:
5-8+ years of UX Design: Provide streamlined experiences for users on an internal platform critical to their job. Understand investment analyst workflows and propose an extendable platform to support their work
Front-End Web Application Experience: Proficient in Angular, React, etc
Component Design and Implementation: Design and implement reusable and modular components using Angular
API Integration: Collaborate with backend engineers to design and integrate APIs
Required Technical Skills:
Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
Testing: Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the front-end codebase
RESTful APIs: Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating with backend services
Build Tools and Package Managers: Knowledge of front-end build tools and package managers
Version Control Systems: Experience with version control systems (GIT)
Preferred Technical Skills:
Experience with Java frameworks and CICB processes
Responsibilities:
Support and maintain existing applications and Streamlit
Deliver incremental enhancements in Streamlit
Evaluate and propose future state stacks based on user needs and constraints
Lead the team in design thinking with respect to user experience design
